Wolfe Worx now offers Powder Coating!
Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder that is cured with heat to form a skin over the component. It is usually used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint, and it generally has a more uniform appearance than liquid-coated items.
Powder coating is mainly used for coating of metals, aluminum extrusions, car parts, and motorcycle parts. Powder coatings can produce much thicker coatings than conventional liquid coatings without running or sagging, and tend to provide more protection for parts exposed to the elements, making it perfect for motorcycle wheels.
Here at Wolfe Worx, we will prepare your wheels for powder coating by cleaning them up with our vapour blasting process first, and inspecting them to ensure there are no defects or flaws that will cause a problem down the road. We then send the wheels out to a specialist so that we can be sure that the job is done right, and that you will be happy with your good-as-new wheels!
Give us a call or bring your wheels into the shop, and we’ll be happy to give you a quote on making those old wheels look new again!
